nct is a boy group formed by sm entertainment. the group's concept is having an unlimited number of members divided into multiple subunits based in various cities worldwide. the group's first unit, nct u made their debut on april 9 2016, with the "the 7th sense" and "without you". the second unit, nct 127 made their debut on july 7 2016, with the mini album nct #127. the third unit, nct dream, debuted on august 24 2016, with the "chewing gum". the group consists of 18 members moon taeil, johnny seo, lee taeyong, nakamoto yuta, qian kun, kim dongyoung, chittaphon leechaiyapornkul (holy shit), jung yoonoh, dong sicheng, kim jungwoo, wong yukhei, mark lee, huang renjun, lee jeno, lee donghyuck, na jaemin, zhong chenle & park jisung.

seventeen or svt is a boy group formed by pledis entertainment in 2015. the group has thirteen members divided into three sub-units. the members in the hip hop unit are choi seungcheol, jeon wonwoo, kim mingyu & hansol vernon chwe. the vocal unit consists of yoon jeonghan, joshua hong, lee jihoon, lee seokmin & boo seungkwan. the performance unit has wen junghui, kwon soonyoung, xu minghao & lee chan.

5. red velvet

red velvet girl group formed by sm entertainment. they debuted on august 1 2014, with the single "happiness" and with four members, bae joohyun, kang seulgi, son seungwan & park sooyoung. in march of 2015, red velvet added member kim yerim to the group.
